Iranian-Americans' Civil Rights and Liberties are obviously important topics in Iranian-American life in USA. The society is thus being set up in an effort to assist in problems Iranian-Americans may have in USA. It is also intended, broadly, as a forum for issues related to Iranian-American Population. Twitter participation is encouraged where you will also see announcement of meeting news type posting. @IRAMCIVLIB, you might also participate in Facebook -- search for Iranian American Civil Rights and Liberties there.
All activities of this society shall be in accordance with American Laws and consonant with the US Constitution. We shall cooperate with like organizations locally and beyond. We are singularly concerned with Civ Lib and Rights issues for Iranian-Americans who are US Citizens. Whether we should be more inclusive to encompass all Iranians in US (US Persons) is a matter well-worth considering.
We shall be in conversation of a cooperative kind with US authorities locally, state-level and nationally.
